Meet The Pack
From survivors to snugglers — get to know Los Wanderlust, the dogs who built the heart of El Ranchito Wanderlust.

The very first rescue — a super-friendly Chihuahua adopted 10 years ago in Sayulita. She’s the queen of the pack and Dani’s heart: confident, social, and always leading the way.

A tiny Chihuahua with a huge heart. He was found after being hit by a car, battling fleas and ticks, and spent two months healing from a fractured hip. Sayulita instantly loved him.

A Chiweenie (Chihuahua + Dachshund) with an albino coat. She’s stubborn, vocal, and endlessly affectionate — like melted butter in your arms.

Our brave tripod. Dani rescued her in Cabo after a hurricane and a car accident. Her leg was amputated, but that never slowed her down. She has wiry hair, a sweet face, and a motherly heart, especially with puppies.

The first rescue in Todos Santos. Abandoned in a house in Cerritos, he became a “foster fail.” Loyal to his core, Cardón chooses to sleep outside to guard the house, even though he could be inside.

Rescued just weeks before El Ranchito was born. At only 8 weeks old, she already had the spirit of a leader. She’s a herding dog with boundless energy and needed training and purpose. Dani couldn’t let her go.
